Bob Wentz Park Capacity
Bob Wentz Park experiences large crowds during holiday weekends. When the park reaches capacity, it will close to all vehicular and pedestrian entry. Visitors traveling to the park should be aware of potential closure.

Know Before You Go
The Point
The Point is a small, sandy peninsula with covered picnic areas, restrooms, and access to the water. No pets are allowed in this area.
Pavilion
Bob Wentz Park's pavilion has an outstanding view of Lake Travis with windows and French doors on all sides. There is a covered walkway around the perimeter and plenty of trees for shade and privacy. There are several six-foot long tables with about 20-25 chairs. The pavilion has a ceiling fan, electrical outlets, a fireplace (users must bring their own firewood), and a sink with running water. The pavilion is wheelchair accessible with parking nearby. There is no air conditioning. Reservations are required.
Capacity
Bob Wentz Park generally reaches capacity on holiday weekends. In order to prevent overcrowding and to promote an enjoyable visitor experience, when capacity is reached, the park is closed for the remainder of the day to all incoming traffic, including pedestrians.
Boat Ramp
For the safety of park visitors, the boat ramp is restricted to non-motorized watercraft only.
Activities
While the park provides access to the listed activities, Travis County Parks does not provide any equipment.
Zebra Mussels
Zebra Mussels have been found along the shoreline of our lake parks. Swimmers and others seeking water-based recreation should exercise caution when in or near the water.
